OBJECTIVES
Know How UK advances education for the public benefit by providing refugees and those fleeing war with grant funding for educational courses and training to help develop knowledge, education and skills to advance in life and adapt within a new community.
POSITIVE CHANGE
Make a difference to just one person. Give them choices. Show them what they can do. And then… make a difference to just one more. Repeat. Once you start looking, so many people could do with a little help. Someone to take an interest, to explore options… to help them find their feet.
WHO WE HELP
Perhaps a young woman escaped the Taliban in Afghanistan and needs a tutor to help prepare her for GCSEs. Maybe a girl fled war in Ukraine and needs a school bursary to be topped up. Or a man who faces challenges due to poverty needs a skills-based course. It could have been you in a different life.
